Initial Notification: On August 13, 2019, the USCG Sector Honolulu notified the NOAA SSC for the Pacific Islands that a disabled pleasure craft approximately 2 nautical miles off Shipwreck Beach in Lanai, Hawaii was being towed to port. No oil had been released but a trajectory forecast was requested in the event of a release of the 800 gallons of diesel aboard. A verbal trajectory assessment was provided.
