Initial Notification: On June 26, 2019, USCG Sector Puget Sound contacted NOAA ERD to request a trajectory and resources at risk for a potential release from a barge carrying an estimated 3,000,000 gallons of oil that grounded at its berth at Pier 23 on Harbor Island, Seattle, Washington. This is a potential release, no spill has occurred at this time.
