Initial Notification: On March 22, 2019, the US Coast Guard Sector New Orleans Incident Management Division (IMD) received NRC Report # 1240778 reporting a mystery spill at the Venice Marina, in Plaquemines Parish, LA. The discharged product is reported to be used motor oil. USCG personnel are en route to the incident location to conduct on site assessment and investigation as to the potential source and/or cause of the discharge.
