Initial Notification: On April 1, 2019, the USCG Sector New Orleans contacted the NOAA SSC regarding a 4nm x 2nm silvery mystery sheen originally identified on March 29 2019. USCG requested assistance identifying this sheen in past and future NESDIS Satellite reports.
