Initial Notification: On 17JAN19 at 1515 USCG Sector New Orleans contacted SSC regarding a mystery rainbow sheen 5 miles by 500 ft heading from the West to the East. The sheen was reported at 1301 by a privately owned aircraft. USCG is currently trying to ascertain the origins of the spill.
