Initial Notification: On February 10, 2018, the USCG Sector New Orleans contacted the NOAA SSC regarding a HFO discharge to the Mississippi River at MM 145 that occurred at the Pin Oak Terminals, Mt. Airy, LA. Initial response has been hampered by fog. The USCG Sector New Orleans Incident Management Division (IMD) has arranged with AIRSTA NOLA for an overflight once the fog lifts. USCG requested a trajectory analysis.
