Initial Notification: On April 15, 2017, Sector New Orleans contacted NOAA SSC for evaluation of NESDIS Anomaly associated with a platform. Nearby field personnel from another organization confirmed that the platform was discharging a small amount of crude and a Coast Guard overflight confirmed sheen.
