Initial Notification: On March 20, 2017, NOAA was contacted by USCG regarding a discharge from an abandoned gas well head. Responders are in route to begin operations to shut in the well head in the morning. No release rate reported. Overflight conducted for a 1.0x0.5mile sheen, another overflight is anticipated for the afternoon.
