Initial Notification: On July 11, 2016, severe weather and flooding destroyed much of the Saxon Harbor Marina in Iron County, Wisconsin. A total of 85 boats have been damaged or destroyed with 20 of those washing up on the Lake Superior shoreline and 6 boats still unaccounted for. USCG reports very turbid water and debris 3 to 6 miles offshore. No visible sheen at this time. MSU Duluth contacted the NOAA SSC for trajectory and resources at risk support.
