Initial Notification: In the Whittear/Port Wells Area 50,000 lbs of ammonium nitrate spilled into 30 ft of water between 00 and 08 on 2/24/85. Winds on 2/25 were SE ~25kts increasing 2/26 to SE 30-35kts and diminishing the night of 2/26.
