Initial Notification: On May 26, 2015, the USCG MSU Port Arthur notified the NOAA SSC that M/V Jian Quang, a 615-foot bulk carrier loaded with sulfur, was grounded outside the jetties of Sabine Pass. No pollution is anticipated. PORTS information from the station at Buoy 34 was requested and provided.
