Initial Notification: At approximately 0830 local time on 22 Sep 09, USCG MSU Morgan City contacted the SSC regarding a 1 mile by 2 mile barely visible sheen approximately 6nm offshore between Belle Pass and Grande Isle, LA. The USCG asked for a trajectory to be sure this would not impact land.
