Mystery Sheen; Tillamook, OR

Initial Notification: USCG Sector Portland called the Northwest SSC to request a hindcast trajectory for a mystery sheen reported approximately 50 nm off of the Oregon Coast in the Tillamook area. The sheen was reported by a fishing boat at 8 p.m. on August 5 and was estimated to be 100 yards by 2 nm long.
