Initial Notification: Sector Anchorage notified NOAA ERD of a reported oil sighting in the vicinity of the Kuk River near Wainright, AK. The report described a 30x0.25mile oiled zone. Sector Anchorage is attempting to arrange an afternoon overflight to verify the report and obtain better on-scene information and has requested Resources at Risk information from NOAA.
