Cygnet Ohio Pipeline spill; Portage River, Ohio

Initial Notification: On Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at 1700 CST a pipeline mishap resulted in about 600 bbls of crude oil being spilled into the Rocky Ford Creek in Cygnet, Oh. EPA is the FOSC and asked us for river flow information. Booming efforts to hold the oil in the creek failed and the oil has entered the Portage River.
