Initial Notification: On 26 September 2008, the USCG notified the regional NOAA Scientific Support Coordinator of an oil release in Catfish Lake Louisiana. As a result of an equipment failure, 50 bbls of condensate crude was released int the environment. The USCG requested a trajectory analysis and natural resources at risk summary.
