Initial Notification: The evening of February 5 USCG Sector Honolulu called the NOAA SSC for an assessment of risk from a container with potential unspecified fumigant residues used on corn seed. The container was lost from a farm during recent storm related flooding in the Hawaiian Islands, floated downriver into the ocean, and was lost. Verbal support on potential risk was provided.
