Initial Notification: On the morning of 5/11 approaching the Chesapeake and Delaware (C&D) Canal the tug Bay Titan was overturned by its barge and sank at the entrance. She is carying 42,000 gallons of diesel fuel. At this time there has not been any release of fuel. Salvage plans are for the next few days. MSO Group Philadelphia requested worst case trajectory analyses from NOAA. USCG district 5.
