Initial Notification: While two vessels passed in the Cape Cod Canal, the tank barge, T/B Florida, carrying #6 fuel oil grounded and caused a small leak and spill. The barge was quickly taken to the pier of ESCO Terminals and boomed. Diver's reports indicated a small breach of the Florida's hull. The NOAA SSC was consulted regarding resources at risk and oil fate. USCG district 1. Keyword: none.
