Initial Notification: On April 20, 1995, MSO Charleston received a report of an outbound shipping container leaking a chemical adhesive material onto the ground below the container at the North Charleston Terminal, Charleston, South Carolina. The shipping manifest noted that this container held numerous neoprene- and toluene-based resins, methyl ethyl ketone, and toluene diisocyanate, all listed as suspect human carcinogens.
