Initial Notification: On March 28, 1991, the 177-foot, 498-ton motor vessel, JESULA II, carrying general cargo, caught fire east of Miami, Florida. The vessel was reported to have approximately 7,000 gallons of Bunker C and 110 gallons of lube oil onboard. First reports said that the vessel was 80 percent engulfed in fire, but no oil had been seen in the water. USCG district 7.
