Initial Notification: On December 4, 1986, the U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Office, Alameda, California, was notified by the Director of the Hayward Fire Department's Hazardous Materials Program that approximately 100 gallons of Jet A fuel had been spilled in San Leandro creek and adjacent marshland area. USCG district 12.
