F/V Peregrine Adrift; Gulf of Alaska

Initial Notification: On October 29, 2026, the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) notified the NOAA Scientific Support Coordinator (SSC) regarding the fishing vessel Peregrine, which lost propulsion in the northeast Gulf of Alaska. USCG is conducting search and rescue (SAR) operations for four crew and requested trajectory support. The SSC also provided the Small Diesel Spill Fact Sheet and requested a National Weather Service weather forecast to support the incident.
