Initial Notification: On the afternoon of October 24, 2026, the NOAA Scientific Support Coordinator (SSC) for District Northwest was notified of a wooden vessel, Tug Joe, that sank approximately 1,000 feet from shore. The Worst Case Discharge is 2,000 gallons of diesel. The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is requesting trajectory products from OR&R.
