Initial Notification: At 12:30pm on 14 Feb 2025, Virginia Dept of Environmental Quality notified the NOAA SSC that at 0710am the International-Matex Tank Terminals (IMTT) bulk terminal reported that an equipment failure resulted in the release of an estimated 1,700 gallons of No. 6 oil into the Elizabeth River.
