Initial Notification: At 0100 hours on 30 January 2025, USCG Sector Maryland NCR notified the NOAA SSC that at approximately 2100 hours on 29 January, a passenger aircraft and a Army Black Hawk helicopter collided mid-air over the Potomac River adjacent to Washington D.C.'s Ronald Reagan National Airport. Sector requested an spill trajectory.
