Initial Notification: On December 8, 2024, the USFW notified the NOAA SSC of a mystery sheen in Delta National Wildlife Refuge. The Texas Petroleum Investment Company (TPIC) tested their infrastructure in the area and reported no potential sources. NOAA provided a hindcast. No source was identified.
