Tropical Storm/Hurricane Debby

Initial Notification: On August 4, 2024, NOAA ERD opened this hotline to capture information on the track and development of tropical storm Debby which is forecast to become a hurricane and make landfall between Tampa and Apalachicola, Florida. USCG Seventh District will establish an area command tomorrow (Aug 5 2024) at 0800. The NOAA Scientific Support Coordinator will join Coast Guard at the area command.
