Initial Notification: On the afternoon of 24 July 2024, NOAA's Assessment and Restoration Division and the USFWS's Caribbean Ecological Services Field Office notified the NOAA SSC that a 78 ft catamaran went aground on a coral reef in the vicinity of Flamenco Beach, Culebra, Puerto Rico. The vessel has an estimated 700-800 gallons of diesel fuel on board. No pollution was reported.
