Initial Notification: On 02-JUL-2024, USCG Sector San Francisco contacted their NOAA SSC to report a gasoline spill in Threemile Slough near Rio Vista, CA. At the time of the call, USCG personnel were just arriving on-scene, so initial details were sketchy. Initial assumptions were that the pollutant was gasoline, the source was not secured, and it may be related to a permanently closed marina that had known fueling facilities.
