Jet Fuel Spill from Tanker Truck at JFK Airport; New York, NY

Initial Notification: On the morning of 8 December 2023, USCG Sector New York notified the NOAA SSC that 5,000 gallons of Jet "A" fuel was released from a tanker truck of which 4,500 gallons entered a nearby stormwater basin. The USCG requested recommendations for clean-up methods and potential resources at risk.
