Initial Notification: At 0700 on 28 October 2023, USCG Sector Virginia notified the NOAA SSC that there was a jet fuel release at the NASSCO Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Norfolk, Virginia. As much as 300 gallons of jP-5 fuel may have been spilled. Sector has not requested any NOAA support at this time.
