Initial Notification: On 15 July 2023, an unknown quantity of organic waste mixture was discharged to Ninemile Creek in Bratenahl, OH. The composition of the waste has not been determined. The creek has an opaque suspended milkiness observed from the Collinwood Bio Energy facility to Lakeshore Blvd, and a fish kill was reported in the creek. EPA is the FOSC. The SSC identified threatened and endangered species that could be impacted.
