Oil Spill into Water/Marsh from Oil Facility near Mouth of SW Pass

Initial Notification: On March 27, 2023, Hilcorp experienced a drop in pressure on a line from the Burnwood Canal facility near the mouth of SW Pass. An estimated 80 bbls of crude oil was discharged into the water and adjacent marsh. The line has been shut in. The USCG consulted NOAA on cleanup techniques.
