Initial Notification: On 04-FEB-2023, USCG Sector San Francisco contacted their NOAA SSC about the 70' yacht SERENITY believed to be carrying 600-700 gallons fuel on board when it began taking on water. People were safely removed from the vessel during a USCG search & rescue (SAR) operation. Sector SF IMD requested a vessel drift estimate.
