Initial Notification: On Jan-19, 2023, a 36' Navy vessel sank after colliding with the Naval Station Bangor security zone boom. The vessel sank in 150 ft of water with 80 gallons of diesel on board. The USCG contacted the NOAA NW SSC on behalf of the Navy to request a RAR.
