Derelict Tug Sheening on Black River, Lorain, OH

Initial Notification: On January 5th at 1044 eastern time, Great Lakes SSC was notified by USCG MSU Cleveland of a known derelict vessel moored on the Black River in Lorain, OH actively sheening. CG is on scene and observed emulsified oil in the vessel. An OSRO is en route to boom the vessel and work with the USCG to develop a plan for dewatering. The USCG requested Resources at Risk for the Black River.
