Initial Notification: On January 10, 2022, the USCG Sector New Orleans Incident Management Division (IMD) received notification of a discharge of crude oil and natural gas from a Quarter North well into the Gulf of Mexico. The well and platform were damaged by Hurricane Ida last year. NOAA provided an initial fate & trajectory.
