Initial Notification: On July 20, 2021, the USCG contacted the NOAA SSC about ongoing discharge at an old chicory plant. The USCG was visiting the site to determine if the owner has taken actions to mitigate known sources of pollution entering the Black River. This hotline was opened to capture information in case of future requests.
