Initial Notification: On January 26, 2016, the USCG Sector Delaware Bay notified the NOAA SSC of an oil spill that took place in the Schuylkill River, Philadelphia, PA near the 2400 block of Market Street. A sensor on the emergency generator at a Century Link facility caused an overflow of the diesel fuel. An estimated 4200 gal of diesel discharged from a generator starting between Wednesday, 20 January and Friday, 22 January. USCG has requested a trajectory.
