Reagan Airport JP-4 Spill; Washington, DC

Initial Notification: On October 30, 2015, the USCG Sector Baltimore notified the NOAA SSC about a JP-4 fuel oil spill that occurred at Ronald Reagan Airport. USCG reports that approximately 8,000 gallons of JP-4 was discharged from a ruptured pipeline and an estimated 3,000 gallons have entered the Potomac River.
