Initial Notification: On December 12, 2014, the USCG Sector NOLA notified the NOAA SSC of a crude oil pipeline leak in Garden Island Bay, Louisiana (NRC#1103268) and requested a trajectory and resources at risk analysis. 20-40 barrels of Sweet Louisiana Crude was released from a 4-in pipeline. Pipeline has been shut in, and response assets are on-scene.
