Initial Notification: On August 18, 2014 NOAA ERD was contacted by the Fulton County Emergency Services Disaster Agency for support for a natural gas release in Canton, IL. ESDA requested air plume models for a ruptured underground 10 inch pipeline. The volume, rate of flow and pipeline pressure were unknown at the time of notification. The SSC is providing support to the Director of ESDA as needed.
