Initial Notification: At approximately 1430 PT on August 1, 2014, the NOAA SSC was contacted by USCG Sector Seattle about a 50 gallon hydraulic oil spill off a vessel in Ballard (Seattle), WA. It is undetermined how much oil was released to the water, however one oiled seagull has been captured. USCG and WA Dept of Ecology are responding.
